Slip the phone away, turn off the mental to-do list and enjoy the mindful benefits of watercolour while sipping on one of Flow State’s award winning gins! Join local artist, Natalie Martin for two hours of watercolour play in the beautiful new Flow State cellar door in Torquay.

When: The last Thursday of every month, select from dates listed below.

Who:  No experience necessary! This event is for ages 18+ only.

What to expect:

This is an unstructured class, a time to play and enjoy watercolour in a social setting. Natalie will provide a range of illustrated templates to colour-in and there will be a short demonstration at the beginning to get you started. The next two hours are for you to enjoy, paint, relax, sip, have fun with your friends and/or make new ones.

What’s included:

• All watercolour materials and templates are provided
• One drink of your choice from the selection at the Flow State cellar door (including any of their gins or cocktails. A range of beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages are also available)
• Light snacks

What to bring:

• Just bring yourself and you are welcome to bring something to eat for dinner.

Frequently asked questions:

This sounds like me to a tee, can I come along multiple times?

Yes, we would love you to. In fact if you come along 5 times, the 6th one is on us. Each session will have different templates to play with or you can work on your own project too.

Can I book a group?

Of course! Each session is currently limited to 20. If you’d like to bring a group larger than this please reach out.

Where do I park?

The Flow State Cellar Door is in an industrial estate with plenty of parking around.

Will it be different each time?

Yes! We would love it to become your regular thing, so each month there will be different templates to paint and Natalie is always happy to set you up with a little project as well.

I’m not a drinker, is this kind of workshop for me?
Flow State offers a range of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from, from non-alcoholic beer, to soft drink to tonics and switchels.

I have dietary requirements, does this matter?

Please let us know if you have any intolerances or food allergies. We provide some light snacks on the evening and want to make sure we cater for everyone.

Can I bring something more substantial to eat for dinner?

Yes! Flowstate do not offer food, so you are most welcome to bring along something to eat if you haven’t quite managed to snaffle down dinner before you get there. You could also order something in if you wanted.

The date I want to book is sold out, is there a waitlist? 

Yes, simply email Natalie and she will put you down on the waitlist. People on the waitlist are the first to be contacted if there’s been a cancellation.
