I am thrilled to have been invited to participate in the 2024 Feastival Art Exhibition at Falls Creek alongside Alison Percy and David Rosendale.

Feastival is Falls Creek's annual festival, a 3-day feast of Music, Art, Comedy, and Food, in the pristine Alpine environment of North-East Victoria. It is a ticketed event, pick up your tickets or check out the complete program here.

I have two brand new works in the show, alongside 3 framed limited edition prints. The original works I began during my residency at Falls Creek in 2022, I got them started en plein air and had planned to take them back to the studio and finish them off. I ended up pursuing other work from the residency and fast forward nearly two years and they were still sitting unfinished in my studio. I loved the ground work in them, but I wasn't sure how to finish them off. I wasn't sure what I was trying to say.

When the team at Falls Creek reached out about the show I knew exactly which pieces I wanted to contribute!! So had to dig down and get them done. All of a sudden they made total sense and I was able to finish them off easily, I think they needed that window of time between sessions for my head to sort out the message. I am so happy with how they both turned out. If you happen to be up at the show, I'm talking about "Rebirth" and "The Fire Within".

The three framed limited edition prints are from the body of work I created while on my residency 'Observations of Falls Creek'. Suffice to say, I had a brilliant time of the residency and came home bursting with inspiration and ideas. It was such a fantastic experience and is a time I think of very fondly.
