I’ve known Daisy of AsDaisyDoes for a while, I actually used to teach workshops in her space in Geelong back in the day. She doesn’t do workshops anymore, but she has expanded her world into the wholesale sector with her new business Big Daisy. We’ve always kept in touch and it’s been incredible to watch her do her thing (as only Daisy does!)

Big Daisy is a wholesale business and have a bespoke range of planters, pots and ceramics. They also have a range of silk ribbons and handmade paper supplies ideal for florists, weddings and events.

Towards the end of 2022 she approached me to put an artwork together that she could use across some new products. It was a completely open brief (this is incredibly rare!) but she totally understood from her floristry work that the best most creative stuff comes without being micro-managed. Me being me, I put a couple of options together and she chose the one featuring big bold poppies. You may have seen this coming together on my Instagram.

Off Daisy goes with the artwork and next minute I’m getting sneak peeks of the most incredible things! The first one to arrive is this amazing silk Habotai ribbon with the poppy artwork repeated on it. It’s turned out so beautifully (and is only the first cab off the rank) I can’t wait to see what comes in next. See more of the collaboration over at Big Daisy.
