Spring Florals in Mixed Media is my fifth Natalie Martin Watercolour course and definitely one of my favourites. Natalie has a special way of explaining how to get the materials to work for you, and it always produces surprising and beautiful results. I really love how the use of mixed media can lift a piece above and beyond. I was always scared of "wasting" my materials, but now I go in with an open mind and creative heart to produce art I'm happy with. I'm already looking forward to the next course!
This is the second on Natalie's online classes that I have done, and I was also lucky enough to attend a live workshop earlier this year. Natalie always gets you to places you never thought you could go, and on the cheery journey she drops such great gems of information. This course used Neocolor II, which I have had for years, and use to finish my watercolours, but it completely developed how they can be used and opened up new doors. Thanks for supplying the flowers Natalie, they are thin on the ground in Orange in July - we really got a jump on spring this year!
