View the complete course information here.
This course is the fifth her series of online courses exploring the fundamentals of watercolour. This one is all about composition. In this course we explore ways to create successful compositions using the principles of art as our tools. This is a hands on course where we will be applying these principles to artworks we create, learning as we go. The focus on this course will be Contrast, Movement, Rhythm, Pattern and Repetition. We also have a look at how to analyse your work as well as when and how to break the rules. The outcome will be a greater understanding of composition, the role it plays in our artworks and a clearer path to creating successful artworks.
Composition is such a large subject that I've created not one, but two courses! This is the second course, Compose, Paint Create Part 2. It is recommended but not essential that you do Compose, Paint, Create Part 1 first. You can also bundle the two courses together and save $19.

This is the most amazing class on composition! I have not seen anything of this level anywhere else, and I have searched. It gives all the branches of information to hang your paintings of composition on. I now have a logical format to reference to see what worked and what didn’t and why not. Then I have also been introduced to more concepts to try out. I cannot recommend this highly enough! Do not pass this class, give it a watch :) Thank you Natalie for sharing your wealth of knowledge ❤️
