Contemporary Botanicals

This intermediate workshop is all about building confidence painting botanicals. With seasonal flowers as our subject, we will learn how to break them down to achieve expressive paintings full of life. Best suited to students with experience in watercolour, there will be a focus on looseness, play and experimentation. Working from photos as well as life (as well as discussing the difference between the two!) our outcome will be beautiful big contemporary watercolour blossoms and new skills to take home to extend our practice. We will also cover composition, common pitfalls and equipment care along the way.

To ensure participants get as much one on one time with Natalie, this workshop is limited to 12 participants.

All materials are provided. If you have your own set of watercolours you’d like to learn with please feel free to bring them along.

Tea, coffee and morning tea are provided. Please let Natalie know if you have any dietary requirements.

Workshop cancellation policy:
If you give more than 10 days notice prior to commencement of the workshop or  course, you may receive a full refund for your course fee. Cancellations between 3-10 days from the workshop date will not receive a refund, but you may reschedule for a future date (to the value of your course fee). Cancellations less than three days from the start date will not be refunded. Your purchase is in acceptance of these terms.
