After over 15 years of pouring watercolour joy into print runs and managing my dedicated print shop, I’ve decided it’s time to close the print shop doors as you’ve known them.
New watercolour works inspired by the ironbarks of my coastal home. A reflection on resilience, balance, and belonging. Showing with Gallery Alchemy at Sydney Affordable Art Fair.
Natalie Martin has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Talburac Art Prize. The exhibition opens 7 November at HOOP Gallery, Torquay - celebrating Surf Coast artists and creativity in nature.
I’ve been bursting to share this with you… ✨ I’ve teamed up with the beautiful brand Cara Cashmere to create something truly special: two luxuriously lightweight cashmere scarves printed with my artwork. Think buttery-soft texture meets joyful colour.
How do you sum up a fabulous art retreat with a beautiful bunch of humans into a few words and some pics? You can't! But I'm going to do my best...
Sometimes everything just falls into place. Back in August I held three workshops at Meet Gather Collect in Aranda (Canberra). It was the second time I visited this gorgeous store and taught some classes. As we were planning the workshops, Thea the owner, suggested I exhibit some work on the walls as well - and of course, I said yes!
I'm thrilled to finally be able to share some details of my upcoming solo show. I've called it The Turning Point and it features works that are inspired by a multi day hike I did in Lutruwita / Tasmania a number of years ago. I reflect on that walk often and it represents a turning point in many ways, for both me personally and as well as in my professional practice. It was such an incredible experience that will live with me always.
There’s something really special about seeing a body of work find its way out into the world. My newest collection, The Ties That Bind, has been such a personal journey and now a selection of these pieces are hanging on the walls of Meet Gather Collect in Aranda, ACT.
There’s a certain kind of silence you only hear when you’re deep in the bush, not the absence of sound, but a presence. The rustle of leaves, the creak of trunks, birdsong in the distance. That’s where this series began.
The Surf Coast Arts Trail is back for 2025! This will be my 9th year doing the trail and it is one of my favourite weekends of the year. It's such a lovely way to connect with my students and collectors as well as the local creative community.
I'm thrilled to be a part of Mum's the Word, a group exhibition on musings on motherhood. Perfectly timed with upcoming Mother's Day of course!
The show features a selection of emerging and established female artists from my local stomping ground Wadawurrung country / The Surf Coast. We were asked to create a work around the thoughts, feelings and connections that shape our experiences, the way we juggle motherhood, creativity and life.
Well this is exciting! I've been selected as a finalist in the Palette Project, an art prize run by Gallery Alchemy - a beaut little gallery I've long admired in Milton, New South Wales. I'm truly chuffed that my work 'Rolling Down the Valley' was one of the 28 works selected.
