This coming weekend, the 12th and 13th of August is the annual Surf Coast Arts Trail. It's a weekend where the local artists and craftspeople throw open their studio doors to the public and invite you in.

My studio is located at Ashmore Arts, stop 22 on the map. Ashmore Arts is a highlight of the whole trail as you get to visit such a large and broad range of artists in one place, including Rowena Martinich, Geoffrey Carran, Takeawei Ceramics, Pete Cromer, Mark Trinham, Bombora Custom Furniture,Glenn Romanis, Glen Hunwick, Nathan Patterson, Kathryn Junor, Simply Forged, Form Concrete Artisans, Leighton Edwards and Metal Monkey Knives.

Last year was my first Arts Trail. I had only had my studio at Ashmore Arts for about a month and I didn't know what to expect. I had such an incredible weekend meeting and chatting with people who had traveled from near and far to visit. I was blown away with the response.

I will have prints, originals, cards, gift wrap and a few other bits and pieces for sale. Eftpos will be available on the day.
