Join me to celebrate the launch of my latest series of artworks ‘A Year in Bloom’. Come and say hello, check out my space and view the new works. There will be original artworks, prints, tea towels and cards available for purchase. All are welcome!
I am still one of those people who go totally giddy with excitement at the art store. I love trialling new brands and materials all the time. Below is a list of my favourite materials that have become staples at my studio.
I get so many questions and enquiries about framing! I know it can be quite a daunting task making the right choice to suit the print and your budget. Although I can’t offer framing to everyone (shipping glass is very problematic!) I do have some experience and advice to offer.
Here's a cheeky sneak preview of the two new works I made for TALK:DIRTY. This botanical art exhibition is a first of its kind, inviting the viewers to listen and talk to plants with the help of cutting edge technology that picks up on their bio-data.
I've had the honour of contributing an especially created skate deck for the Moss Foundation Deck Art Show. 100% of all funds raised go building life changing permanent clean water schemes in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland).
I couldn't be more excited to share with you my latest collection of original artworks and limited edition prints, 'Eye Spy'
During winter (and COVID-19 lockdown) when the wattle started to bloom here on the Surf Coast I found myself constantly stopping the car to take photos and always had my eyes peeled for new blooms and signs of spring. I was playing 'Eye Spy' all the time! I wanted to bring that excitement and energy to the page and share my love for this time of year.
It's wildflower season! I spent a wonderful afternoon wandering around Anglesea Heath with my eyes peeled and camera at the ready. Anglesea Heath is a treasure trove of Victorian wildflowers, especially native orchids. There are around 80 different species of orchid to spot! We found 3 haha! Dare say I'll be heading back next weekend so spot a few more. Not a bad iso-activity.
There was a little window between lockdowns here in Victoria where I couldn't have felt more creative and productive. There were the first signs of spring in the air, wattle was starting to bloom, flowering gum too. It all felt very promising.
Heyyyy I did my first ever podcast interview! Ben and Jess from Surf Coast Creatives Podcast invited me to be their first guest of the second season of their show. We talked all things art and life and business and had a great time! I shared a few of my business tips, and mistakes I made along the way as well as upcoming projects and plans.
